In tribute of the country’s King of Rap, Party Pilipinas, during their Independence Day episode last June 13, presented a tear-jerking Francis M. medley featuring rising young actor Elmo Magalona.
Elmo Magalona: “Man from Manila, ‘yun ang tawag ng mga tao kay Papa. Master Rapper. Siya ang nag-introduce ng pinoy rap. Growing up with his music inspires me, and makes me proud to be a Filipino. Dalawang dekada, one great pinoy artist. That’s my father Francis M. Now it’s about time to continue his legacy.”
